Hyros vs GoHighLevel Purchase Reconciliation
Performed a buyer-level reconciliation for the client after Hyros purchase counts and GoHighLevel buyer data disagreed. The analysis filtered out $47 VIP, focused on coaching-service buyers, normalized email keys, and compared the buyer doc, GHL orders, GHL transactions, and Hyros sales. It classified matched-attributed, matched-No Source, missing-from-Hyros, existing-database, and Hyros-not-in-doc cases. A key strategic correction came after confirming that GoHighLevel already sends Purchase events directly to Meta: Hyros should not be enabled as another purchase delivery layer without deduplication. The final workbook was simplified into a client-ready deliverable with Summary, Match Analysis, Hyros Detail, and GHL Detail.
The analysis reframed Hyros from a conversion-delivery tool into an attribution-only layer because GHL already sent purchases to Meta.

The Problem
The client stakeholders saw a discrepancy between Hyros-reported purchases and the GoHighLevel buyer’s doc. The team needed to understand whether Hyros was missing or misattributing paid media buyers and whether the tool still made sense for paid media reporting.
The sources did not represent the same purchase universe: the buyer doc, GHL orders, GHL transactions, and Hyros export had different buyer counts, values, and attribution states. Hyros also had No Source and Not sent statuses that needed to be interpreted in light of a separate GoHighLevel-to-Meta purchase automation.
The analysis required matching buyers across multiple exports using email, distinguishing coaching-service purchases from $47 VIP, separating attribution/reporting from CAPI delivery, and avoiding false conclusions about Hyros not sending to Meta when GHL already handled that role.
Approach & Architecture
Built a workbook reconciling the client buyer-doc rows, GoHighLevel orders/transactions, and Hyros coaching sales. Filtered out $47 VIP and focused on coaching-service buyers. Matched buyers by email, classified Hyros-attributed, Hyros-No Source, and missing-from-Hyros cases, and compared the original 63-purchase campaign number. Updated the strategic recommendation after Pablo confirmed that GoHighLevel already sends Purchase events to Meta, repositioning Hyros as an attribution/reporting layer rather than the primary CAPI delivery layer.
The analysis treated GHL orders/transactions as the operational buyer source of truth, the buyer doc as a working/manual doc, Hyros as attribution/reporting, and GHL-to-Meta automation as the purchase event delivery layer. The reconciliation workbook collapsed internal analysis tabs into a deliverable with Summary, Match Analysis, Hyros Detail, and GHL Detail.
Key Decisions & Trade-offs
Hardest Part
Correctly interpreting Hyros Not sent status after discovering that GHL, not Hyros, was intentionally the Meta purchase delivery layer.
Technical Detail
Workbook tabs reduced to Summary, Match Analysis, Hyros Detail, and GHL Detail.
Google Sheets/Excel-style reconciliation workbook.
Matched exports by normalized email; compared buyer doc, GHL completed orders, GHL succeeded transactions, and Hyros coaching sales.
ChatGPT was used to plan the reconciliation, process uploaded exports into an Excel workbook, refine the analysis, correct strategic conclusions, and produce Asana-ready findings.
Measured Results
The reconciliation showed that the buyer doc, GHL exports, and Hyros were not aligned and that Hyros should not be treated as the buyer source of truth. The final recommendation was to keep GHL as the primary Purchase delivery layer to Meta, treat Hyros as attribution/reporting only, and only renew Hyros if its reporting value justified the cost.
